Victoria Brun is a writer and project manager at a national laboratory. When not bugging hardworking scientists about budget reports and service agreements, she’s writing stories about people in improbable situations.

Her short stories and articles have appeared in Clarkesworld Magazine, Nature Futures, Factor Four Magazine, and beyond. Her stories span the gamut from hilarious to harrowing to heartwarming.

She’s also the editor and publisher of the microfiction zine 100-Foot Crow and a slush reader at Diabolical Plots. Finished Business is her first published novel.
